I used to be chill about everything, no worries, no drama, no over thinking; all of those were quite the opposite of what i WAS. These last 5 months have been quite the opposite.. In retrospect I’ve seen drastic change in my personality &amp; actions since my ‘boxing accident’. 
It all started with a drunken night 3 weeks into the semester. Me &amp; one of my friends were boxing for fun and although he is quite longer than me he got 4-5 punches in on me for every one punch I’d hit him. I have too much pride to ever ‘give up’ on a play fight so I kept taking the punches to the head like they were nothin’. The next morning I felt dizzy, unmotivated, nauseous, empty-headed, depressed and very lethargic. This went on for about 3-4 months strong and completely wiped my personality away. When experiencing these type of feelings like ‘empty-headedness’ and ‘dizziness’ it leads to feeling awkwardness around others due to the fact you cant think straight and maintain conversation like normal. I must have went through at least 6 doctors I can think of at the top of my head &amp; the first 5 all told me I had Benign Positional Vertigo.. With no known treatment all I could do was wait it out til’ it passed. So I waited &amp; waited until realizing nothing had changed concerning my symptoms. So I finally called back the Flower Hospital whom I have already visited &amp; asked for a doctor who specializes in vertigo. So I saw Dr. Ruben who ordered many tests for me to figure out the problem. After getting back the results &amp; later finding out I indeed did not have vertigo I was devastated. The next step involved seeing a neurologist; as Dr. Mohammed ordered an EEG &amp; MRI to figure out the problem. I am currently awaiting results &amp; crossing my fingers as to getting my life back on track &amp; my personality pulled back together. </p> <p>My biggest support system who have helped me through it has been my mother and neighbor whom is more than just a neighbor or friend to me. I would go to the moon and back for this girl a thousand times. She is one of the sweetest persons I have ever met in my life &amp; my attachment causes issues when I see other guys flirt with her. Which goes back to my over thinking and worrying which is something I normally do not possess. </p> <p>Although everyday this is something I have to deal with I feel talking and writing about it is the best therapy for me. I will eventually get over this speed bump in my life &amp; in some sort of way feel richer for the experience later on.
